What a cream blush is

An emollient colour that melts into skin, often worn on the lips as well.

How it is used. Press onto the apple with a fingertip or a round brush; blend the edges only as far as the look wants.

The techniques

Pat
Tap lightly with a fingertip or damp sponge so product melts in rather than moves.
Press
Press product onto the skin without dragging, so it stays where it is put.
Stipple
Bounce the tips of the brush against the skin for an airbrushed, dotted-in finish.
